Steps of Faith Dance Company, Inc.

The Steps of Faith Dance Company, Inc. is a non-profit (501c3) organization whose purpose is to spread the news of the Gospel in our community and around the world through dance and ministry work.  The Dance Company is housed at Steps of Faith Dance Studio, in Cartersville GA.

The Dance Company is made up of a group of young dancers who wish to use their dance to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  It is a comprehensive program where participants receive the highest training in ballet, modern, and jazz, as well as enjoy spiritual development with weekly devotions.  Company members produce the annual Nativity Ballet, the Easter/Passion ballet (when scheduled), and a Spring Concert, as well as appearances in the community in area festivals and churches.  The highest company level is involved in optional biannual mission trips both stateside and internationally. We recently completed a mission trip to Trinidad, June 2009.  It was a blessing beyond description to all who participated.

Over the past twelve years, Steps of Faith Dance Company has had the privilege of ministering throughout the Southeast, upstate New York, Norway, Sweden, Trinidad, as well as at local festivals such as SonFest (Woodstock), Roselawn (Cartersville), Great Locomotive Chase (Adairsville), and others.  Many of our dancers have performed in ministry groups around the world including India, the Phillipines, Austrailia, and Indonesia. 

Auditions for the upcoming season are held each spring and summer at the studio.  All dancers must be proficient in ballet, be at least 8 years old, and have a ministry minded attitude.  Company members are required to take a minimum number of classes during the year as well as over the summer.   Summer Intensive attendance (or equivalent), is required.  Please email or call for more information. Performances at area festivals and local and regional churches are booked throughout the year. If you or your organization is interested in a booking, or you are interested in auditioning for a place in the company, please contact us for a professionally produced DVD to learn more about our organization. All donations to the Dance Company are tax-deductible. (We are a 501c3 organization.)
